Vocational Rehabilitation - From City to Silage

One of our clients recently gained star status when he was interviewed on TV about the support he had been given during a period of transition.

Over the course of three years Ernie had suffered from a stress related illness. He was unable to work in his job as a trader in the City. As he began to recover, he expressed a desire to get back to work, though he wanted a clean break from his previous employer.

Outdoor, practical work was his preference. He was interested in setting up his own business and approached his insurance company asking for help with his future career. At this point a consultant from EuroCareer Consultants was brought in to provide coaching.

With a host of good ideas but almost no experience of business Ernie found it difficult translating ideas into viable realities. However, following a series of meetings and telephone contact with his consultant a realistic business plan was developed. Now more than six months on he is running his own paddock maintenance business and the business is showing excellent growth.

Ernie has regained his self esteem, taken control of his career and is looking forward to a more interesting and rewarding future.
